Job Summary This Customer Service Representative (CSR) position is with our "At Your Door" Special Collection, which is responsible for solutions for your difficult-to-recycle household items, such as: batteries, paint, aerosols, pesticides, thinners, old medications, etc... The CSR receives and processes incoming calls and/or emails from customers by serving as the end to end point of contact for customers. This position collaborates with a team of customer service representatives to meet overall call center objectives and enhance the customer service function to exceed our customers' expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The role of the Customer Service Representative is to identify and resolve customer service issues such as missed pick ups, or scheduling pick ups, in a timely manner. Our Representatives must be able to manage difficult situations and respond promptly to service requests to meet customer commitments. In addition, they must be able to handle high inbound call volume, 60 calls per day on average, as well as corresponding via email, on a consistent basis. To successfully perform this role, our customer service representatives work quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment in order to update customer records and navigate through a series of computer applications which provide our customers with the most current, accurate information. Often times ourCustomer Services Representatives have to utilize up to 4 different computer systems on one call. Our representatives have excellent written /oral communication skills and strong customer service orientation. They are also able to process contracts and other orders in an accurate and timely manner, and demonstrate excellent follow through on assignments and customer questions. Our Customer Service Representatives are dependable individuals who have a good attendance history and report to work on time everyday. The ability to deal with frequent changes in the work environment is an important aspect of this role. Qualifications* Educational Requirement- High school diploma or G.E.D. is required
* At least 4 years of call center experience within the last 7 years
* Ability to use a computer in a Windows based environment is required.
* Proficiency (perform the skill with out assistance) using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
* Must be able to type 35 words per minute
