We are actively searching for a top notch Leasing Consultant to join our team.


The Leasing Consultant is a community sales representative whose primary responsibility is to greet clients, professionally present the features and benefits of the apartment community and properly secure lease agreements from qualified persons. A Leasing Consultant must be service oriented and focus on making potential and current residents feel welcome and comfortable in the apartment community.


Maintains a professional and friendly atmosphere in the leasing office.
Answers phones with a cheerful voice using the predetermined greeting for the property. Handles each call accordingly.
Inspects model and "market ready" apartments for cleanliness and makes sure they are in top condition for showing potential residents. Prepares work orders as necessary to correct any deficiencies.
Maintains awareness of the curb appeal of the property.
Prepare lease package, and assist with all move-in and move-out procedures.
Greets prospective residents, determines needs and preferences and follows qualification process to rent.
Prepare fresh balloons daily to attach to A-frames that are positioned daily.
Walk marketing path daily, and arrange for necessary maintenance to maintain property cub appeal.
Handle emergency situations according to company policy.
Professionally presents the community and apartments while communicating features and benefits.
Maintains a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
Maintains an accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the community, particularly in areas such as rent and pricing information, apartment availability, lease matrix, floor plans and dimensions.
Aware of the local market conditions and trends.
Contribute ideas to the community manager for marketing the community and improving resident satisfaction.
Actively participates in the lease renewal process.
Courteous and efficient in handling residents requests and complaints.

Preferred Qualifications:

Sales and customer service experience; apartment leasing experience is a plus
The ability to connect with a variety of people
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Motivation to succeed driven by your desire to meet or exceed goals and earn commissions based on your performance
The ability to work well in a high volume and sometimes stressful environment
The ability to work well independently as well as within a team setting
A positive attitude, and the desire to learn and develop your skills
College degree preferred; high school diploma required
Availability to work weekends because that is when many customers need you.
