Somehow, 5 of my zebra finches were let out of their outdoor aviary yesterday, on 8/18/15.
Two of them are adult females, the birds in the picture with the orange beaks, and three of them are babies that just came out of the nest a week ago. The babies are gray with black beaks (in the picture)
I know this is a long shot but I love these little birds and I would be so happy to get them back and it will save their lives.
Zebra finches are very small birds, not much bigger than hummingbirds and they have a distinct "beep-beep" type of chirp.
They obviously have been in a cage their entire lives and do not know how to survive on their own.
They don't know how to find food, water or shelter, as these have always been provided for them.
I live in the neighborhood along the south side of Rockville Road, bordered by High School Road and Girl School Road. If you would happen to see my babies, PLEASE let me know as soon as possible if you would be so kind. They WILL die if they are not found. Thank You.
