We are seeking a Pastry Cook for our high end private resort. This position is full time/seasonal for both summer and winter seasons.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Measure, mix, and bake ingredients following standardized recipes to produce baked goods, desserts, and ice cream. Assist with baked good preparation.
Safely operate food preparation and baking equipment.
Assist with the organization, labeling, rotating, and secure storage of food inventory, requisitioning items when needed.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the kitchen in accordance with the standards set by the Executive Chef, KMG, government regulations, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.
Responsible for all bakery production in the absences of the Executive Pastry Chef/Pastry Chef.
Actively participate in and comply with all health and safety standards, regulations, and policies.
Other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIALJOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate in a professional manner at all times.
Must have a working knowledge of all stations and equipment in the kitchen
Flexibility to assist in other areas.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1 year baking experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must obtain ServSafe Certification.
Culinary degree is preferred.
