This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity with a local financial company located in Burlington. Job responsibilities are centered on administering all facets of the COBRA process while providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers. The COBRA processing includes activities such as phone support, data entry, scanning, and auditing.
Administer all facets of the COBRA Process
Maintain key relationships with internal and external customers
Identify and respond to clients' changing needs and industry trends
Ensure that business commitments and deliverables exceed expectations
Understand what the COBRA continuation law is and how to administer it according to the Department of Labor and other applicable regulations including: What id does, which employers and plans are subject to it, who is entitled to benefits, who is a qualified beneficiary, and what is a qualifying life event.
Understand all aspects of a client's CBORA Benefit as address in their Plan Document including but not limited to: plan language and documents, ERISA, DOL, HHS, ACA, and IRS regulatory requirements as well as costs associated with the benefits provided
Basic computer competency
Maintain client confidentiality
Strong communication and customer service skills
Associates Degree Preferred or Equivalent Relevant Work Experience
Minimum of 1-year experience working in a professional office environment preferred
Experience in TPA industry preferred
Monday -- Friday 8 am -- 5 pm
