Sugarsnap Catering is looking for the right individual to join our Event Staff Team. The ideal candidate would need to work well under stressful conditions, be able to work efficiency while providing the best customer service while still paying attention to the details.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Customer Service -- ensure the highest caliber of customer service in all aspects of the event construction process ,including: fielding initial customer request, formulating quotes and proposals in a timely manner, following up for walk throughs and tastings as needed, planning the small details, properly invoicing, and overall client satisfaction at the event
Process Improvements -- help define, document and train staff on the key processes that are part of the day-to-day operation of our catering business.
Management tasks: Effectively manage the event team onsite onsite. Including; delegation of tasks, effective communication, and training.
Communication: Ensure effective and organized communication between departments to help meet both company goals and customer satisfaction and expectations.
Data Integrity: Train staff and monitor to make sure that all customer data is correct and updated.
Experience -- Ideal candidate will have at least three years of hands on catering experience -
Leadership -- As an entrepreneurial company, it is essential that every manager on the team is capable of inspiring employees, partners and customers every day.
Customer Orientation -- At Sugarsnap, all team members are first and foremost advocates for our customers, which means that they should always be considering the customer's needs first. Must be attuned to our clients' needs and concerns, helping us to serve them better (and more profitably).
Organization -- Keeping track of all small and large detail for a plethora of events requires extreme organization to be successful.
Attention to Detail -- All event members must pay close attention to all details at events, including; food quality, tablescapes, and overall layout and flow.
Problem Solving -- When something's not right, there may not be time to consult with others before solving the problem, so the event manager must be confident in making quick decision.
Initiative -- Every team member be capable and confident of taking initiative to improve our business on a daily basis.
Salary: $13.00 /hour
Event Coordination: 1 year
