A growing Managed Services provider serving small businesses in the Twin Cities is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong background in Windows server and desktop support to help provide support to our wonderful clients. Contract-to-hire.

A successful team member:

? Represents the company in a professional and business-like manner and communicates effectively with clients
?? Provides support services for Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Office 365/Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
Has some working knowledge of: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
? Provides support for remote access solutions and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
? Monitors remote system alerts and notifications, and takes appropriate action
? Develops a trusted advisor relationship with clients
? Communicates effectively with management team

Desired Skills and Experience

A qualified applicant has professional experience with the following:
Windows Server, Exchange Server, ActiveSync, Hosted Exchange, Remote Desktop Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, IIS, network security principles, File-Level and Bare Metal Backup Systems, Disaster Recovery, Disk Management principles, Firewalls, VLAN's, and Virtualization, network routing and switching protocols. Continuum and Autotask experience a plus.
