TITLE: Communications and Marketing Manager
LOCATION: Richmond, CAPosition Overview: The Communications and Marketing Manager will design and implement all of Rubicon’s external marketing and communication needs. In a Communications and Marketing Manager, we are seeking a savvy, creative and dynamic story-teller and strategic thinker committed to social equity and poverty alleviation. This position is new to Rubicon, and we are eager to bring on a highly motivated and skilled manager comfortable with high level project ideation along with ground level tactics implementation. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a hunger to inspire, innovate and have a significant and meaningful impact on the lives of our clients and East Bay communities. Rubicon transforms East Bay communities by equipping low-income people to break the cycle of poverty. We believe that community change is best accomplished when residents lead, and our transformative model offers participants the opportunity to become change agents in their community, by first strengthening their own financial, social and health situation, then engaging as leaders in civic and community life, with their personal success having a ripple effect on their family and broader community. Rubicon recently re-designed our signature program model using human centered design principles, and we are now conducting pilots of our new model to refine our program and prepare to scale it across our 8 East Bay sites. We need a creative thinker who is excited about sharing the story of the changes Rubicon has gone through, what differentiates our program, and why our community should get involved in this game-changing work.
