User Support Specialist - Salesforce.com

Hanley Wood Media, Inc. is currently seeking a User Support Specialist -- Salesforce in our Washington DC headquarters. Remote candidates in other locations will also be considered. This individual will be an integral part of the centralized Salesforce.com team. He/She will be responsible for helping Salesforce users troubleshoot account, data, reporting, and security issues. The Salesforce User Support Specialist will also assist the Director of CRM Administration with ongoing tactical projects.

Major Job Responsibilities and Related Duties:

Provide first level assistance to the sales, marketing, or sales operations teams, including issue identification and issue resolution/escalation
Assist internal Salesforce users with training and reporting
Troubleshoot reporting issues and modification of dashboards
Complete tactical projects assigned by CRM Director
Assist with optimization of user experience of Reports, Dashboards, and Content areas
Identify and correct data discrepancies and data quality problems and work on solutions to fix these problems long term with CRM Director and User groups

Qualified Candidates should possess the following Education, Experience, and Skills:

1 -2 years of experience working in an operational support environment, supporting internal users. A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a technology related field is preferred.
Experience as an end user of Salesforce.com, similar CRM product , or relational database
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization to define problems and present solutions
Effective prioritization and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work with internal and external customers, troubleshooting issues by phone and in person
Comfort in managing day-to-day vendor relationships
Strong communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
Strong multi-tasking and troubleshooting skills
