memoryBlue is seeking a brand journalist with experience developing a wide range of content and deploying that content across multiple organizational and communications channels. This is an exciting opportunity to join a unique, high-tech sales consulting firm and define a new role by working directly with the Marketing Manager and Co-founder to build and launch a content marketing program.

What You'll Do
-Work as a member of the memoryBlue Marketing team to collaborate and execute on tactics defined in our Content Marketing Strategy

-Learn and absorb the memoryBlue offerings and how we position our services in order to communicate it in a unique way to all stakeholders (clients, potential candidates, alumni, etc.)

-Employ an investigative approach and journalistic style while creating content

-Interview memoryBlue team members and industry professionals to craft content in various forms based on your research

-Compose Blog posts on a consistent basis catered to our diverse audience

-Stay current on public relations and marketing trends in order to deliver content that is easily digested and turned to by readers

-Broadcast memoryBlue news by crafting brand press releases often

-Generate relevant and brand-building content in various formats, including: white papers, infographics, guides, checklists, eBooks, case studies, video scripts, web pages, blog posts, etc.

-Create engaging social media posts based around content

-Drive brand awareness, subscribers, and leads by delivering content aligned with our overarching Marketing Strategy

-Collaborate with memoryBlue Marketing team to dig into meaningful analytics in order to optimize content for increased conversions

-Analytics: Work with team to develop monthly, quarterly and yearly analytics reports showing results of content marketing strategy

-Understand the various memoryBlue customer experiences as outlined in our Marketing Hourglass to gain a better understanding of our brand messaging
Social Content Calendar: Work closely with marketing, sales, and recruiting departments to ensure consistent strategies, messaging and branding.

-Social Listening: Monitor the company's presence on social networks, blogs, news sources for proactive response to elite influencers and other members of the media. Generate meaningful content by keeping your ear to the ground.

Skills and Experience
You should be competitive and driven, with a strong work ethic and a desire to launch your career as a MarComm professional. It's vital that you display exceptional written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to connect and establish rapport with a digital audience. Your ability to work independently and in a team environment is vital. Exceptional time and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple stakeholders with changing priorities is necessary.

Must Haves

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (English, Journalism, Media Studies, PR/Communications preferred, Marketing minor a plus)

-Proven track record of achievement in writing and provide writing samples

-Experience unearthing stories that people want to hear and share

-Willingness to learn and accept feedback

-Understanding of the public relations landscape and latest trends

-Familiarity of how websites and search engines work

-Experience building social media engagement

-Experience with marketing analytics software including Pardot - a plus

-Proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign -- not required but a big plus

-Videography experience -- a big plus
