We are a technology based company that installs and services burglary & fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV camera systems, structured cabling for data and phone systems. We offer our services to both the residential and commercial markets. We have been in business and licensed by the State of Florida for over 10 years, we are also authorized by Siemens, Sumitomo Fiber optics, Corning, and others as a dealer which gives us more opportunities for growth. We are seeking project managers, Estimators, installers and service technicians. Fiber optic, Honeywell systems programming, experience and IT knowledge is a plus. Applicants must have a clean driving record, a clean criminal background and pass a drug screen. We are located in Pembroke Pines, Florida 33026.
Successful candidates will be reliable, punctual, hard working and committed to performing high quality work. Must be able to lift from 50 lbs to 120 lbs, work at high levels including work on ladders and lifts and must have reliable transportation. If offered position, must possess a valid driver's license, be able to pass background check, drug screen, and physical. Experience with Cat 5e/6 cable, fiber optic cable, low voltage cable, Fluke testing equipment and related tools are a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pulls cables, such as coaxial, twin ax, twisted pair, optical fiber and other cable types, through conduit, above ceilings and between floors.
Installs modular connectors for data and telephone users.
Terminates cable on cross connects, hubs, and routers.
Ability to use cable testing equipment to troubleshoot problems.
Ability to monitor cable system performance.
Ability to make cable and modular connections, and relocates cable connections.
Ability to tests and evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing system.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of work related experience and/or training.
