Busy dermatology practice looking for front office staff member. The practice is fully computerized and uses an electronic health record system.

We require an outgoing, enthusiastic, detailed, problem solver with exceptional customer service skills. The individual must present a professional image at all times. The right candidate will be reliable with a good work ethic. He/she will be organized and will utilize time wisely.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited too):
Scheduling appointments, greeting patients, collecting co-pays and payments, entering data into the electronic medical record, preparing paperwork as needed, patient check-in/check -out duties and answering phones.
MINIMUM BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS: /The person who would enjoy this job and do well in our office would have these skills:

Quick learner
Strong customer service perspective
Excellent communication skills
Above average computer skills with data entry -- fast and accurate
Be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Ability to problem solve independently
Strong attention to detail and organization
Friendly, personable team player
Familiarity with medical terminology/insurance
Prior experience on a multi-line phone system and with computers, fax, copiers, scanners, printers
Knowledge of Athena and EHRs preferred but not necessary
Previous experience working in a medical office is preferred.

This position is full time. Shifts will vary, but candidate must be available Monday - Friday from 7:45am-6pm, and on Saturdays until 1PM. Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation and be able to travel within a 25 mile radius of Lafayette, CO to our satellite offices.
