Regents Park & Deerwood Place are currently seeking a Dietary Cook to join our food service team. Our team members provide a caring and supportive environment for all of our residents.

As a member of the Dietary team, you will help to create a positive and healthy dining experience for all of our residents. Duties include but are not limited to, following recipes for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs. The food preparation will include operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and weigh ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting, and shredding fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry, or fish for culinary use. In addition, the Cook may be expected to taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production requirements, and requisition supplies and equipment. Cook cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment. The Cook must understand and adhere to all safety and food handling requirements. Our Deerwood cooks are also responsible for bussing tables after meals.

Basic Qualifications

You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
Moderate lifting, frequent standing and walking is required.
Full-Time position is now available. Especially looking for individuals with full availability. Shifts to include evenings, weekends and holidays. A Positive attitude is a MUST!
