Modis is currently seeking 5 Desktop Support Specialists for a 6-12 month contract opportunity. A Healthcare client located in Denver, CO is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist with an MCP and at least 1 year working in a large enterprise environment doing deskside support. The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows 7, deskside support, troubleshooting and an MCP Certification. This client is looking for someone who is professional and comfortable working with end users.

Specific duties and responsibilities of the Desktop Support Specialist Job include:
Deskside Support
Desktop Troubleshooting
Windows 7 Installation

The Requirements:
Must be proficient with Windows 7
MCP Certification
1+ year of experience working in a large enterprise environment doing desk side support
Critical Thinking / Problem Solving
Willingness and ability to find solutions to complex problems that you may not have experienced
Ability to have effective client conversations and interactions and build strong client relationships
Ability to provide on-call services to clients

Desired skills for this position are as follows:
Ability to quickly interpret, diagnose and respond to problems within a highly dynamic technical environment
Detail-oriented and strong customer service skills
Knowledge of troubleshooting network connections and devices
Local support for IT helpdesk escalations
Communicate effectively and professionally, sometimes in highly sensitive and/or stressful situations
