Financial Planning agency in downtown Elkhart is looking for a full-time Booker and Administrative Assistant Professional. We would like to hire a qualified individual immediately. Office hours are Mon - Fri, 8 - 5. We do not currently offer a health plan. There is a wonderful SARSEP plan after one year of service. Our ideal applicants must have experience in Quickbooks, MS Word/Excel and Windows. There are many functions to this job, so be prepared to learn. Customer service is our number one priority! Very helpful if you have experience with mutual funds or other investment vehicles.
Job functions and skills required include:
* Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / General Accounting
* Payroll processing through a service.
* Prepares monthly commission reports.
* Answers telephone, screens calls and takes messages.
* Work on special projects as assigned.
* Customer Service support.
* General Office, phones, filing, faxing, emails.
* Support Executive Staff.
* Types letters, reports and other materials on automated office equipment.
* Establishes and maintains files and records.
* Process regularly scheduled reports from computer databases.
* Create Proposals.
* Knowledgeable in Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, Excel.
* Exceptional english grammar and writing skills.
* MUST be detail oriented.
* Ability to work with different types of personalities, a dedicated team player.
* At least five years administrative support experience.
