Our company is a furniture consignment retail store that also offers furniture and lamp repair and painting and staining to our customers who enjoy the exceptional customer service we provide and the variety of products we offer. This role demonstrates patience, good listening skills, attention to detail, and in overall positive presence is at the core of this roles character. This role is natural for making our customers happy. The Customer service representative is our number one ambassador. With an undivided focus on the customer, the successful candidate offers support every step of the way, from being a helpful voice on the phone, to helping customers with their consignment decisions and helping to resolve customer service issues with ease. The successful candidate works hard to continually follow up with customers which naturally creates more sales for the company. This person knows our products and promotions inside and out, and displays confidence in answering any questions that may pop up. Behind the scenes, the successful candidate demonstrates a knack for organization and efficiency, keeping the office in order under the direction and mentorship of the Owner.
Key Measures for Success
?Ability to explain, answers questions, and sell the consignment process to potential consignors resulting in over 95 % of signed consignors.
?Demonstrates ability to explain, answers questions, and sell Endless Finds repair services to potential customers and clients resulting in $12,000 in sales in their first year.
?Demonstrates knowledge our products, services, and promotions inside and out and is able to sell customers on products, services, and promotions resulting in total increase to sales of $50,000 in their first year.
Must be curious, love people, love to learn, and love a challenge. Have an ability to work in an interrupt-driven environment in total support of customers. Comfortable speaking with customers on the telephone answering all questions regarding our products and services. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to follow up with customers, maintain notes and information and search out needed items all while building relationships with our customer base. Intermediate computer skills to advanced computer skills to include Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point is preferred.
3-5 years' experience of in customer service with a sales background.
Equivalent of the completion of the twelfth grade, plus a minimum of three years of customer service experience and experience in sales. Experience of a closely related nature may be substituted.
Monday - Saturday 10 am - 5 pm with occasional overtime
