A Boulder-based outdoor gear company is looking to hire an important position in its distribution center. The stock receiving specialist focuses on unloading incoming vendor shipments and preparing them for stocking the warehouse. This role works closely with our inventory and in-bound logistics team members to prepare for arriving shipments. They also work closely with our stock specialist to coordinate the put-away process once the products have been received at the dock.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare dock area for receiving in-bound shipments
Efficiently and accurately unload palletized products from trailers and stage in receiving area
Using electronic scanners, verify goods being delivered against purchase orders and add incoming inventory items to the system
Identifies any errors in shipments and communicates with inventory logistics team
Break down and sort mixed product pallets for appropriate warehouse stocking
Move pallets or cartons to their assigned location in the warehouse
Maintains clean and orderly workspaces including keeping dock and receiving bay clear of empty cartons, pallets and other debris.
Operates any material handling equipment following established safety guidelines
Participates in inventory cycle counts and physical inventories as directed
Assists with other warehouse duties including order picking, packing, and product labeling when needed
Assists in maintaining the overall organization, security and safety of the warehouse
The ideal candidate will:
Have some warehouse, distribution or shipping experience.
Have experience driving a forklift - loading/unloading pallets on and off vertical racking systems and docks
Have the ability to perform tasks under pressure and within a deadline driven environment
Be able to accurately follow directions and to quickly learn new procedures
Work well in a team and bring a positive attitude to it.
Be reliable and have a solid work ethic, taking pride in what they do.
Should be able and willing to perform physical work including extended periods of standing, walking, lifting, reaching and bending over. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional information:
This is a full-time position; our business hours 8:30AM-5:30PM Monday through Friday. Pay range is competitive and depends on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, 401K and employer paid pension, generous vacation and holidays and a casual work environment.
