Cosmetic packaging manufacturing and distribution company seeks an individual for a role involving customer service and order processing. This is for a full time position M thru F, 8am to 5pm
The job entails receiving orders from customers via fax / email & phone, entering those orders into the system to generate both customer sales orders and job purchase orders with our overseas factory. Customers are given order confirmations and kept updated on the status of their order until delivery. Job orders are processed with the factory and followed through at each stage of production until goods are shipped.
1 - Quickbooks is used to create items, sales orders and purchase orders as well as to control inventory.
2 - MS Excel / Word / Outlook - be able to create Excel worksheets using functions and formulas. Be able to prepare documents in word for presentation to customer.
3 - Be neat and organized - all documentation both printed and electronic has a place, you must be able to logically organize and file information in a neat manner.
4 - Be an optimist and maintain a positive outlook
5 - Be able to multitask and handle distractions while not losing track of the current job
6 - possess the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and demanding customers
7 - Be able to assemble customer samples of products from warehouse inventory, package and then ship to customers using UPS ( items are lightweight plastic goods)
