Commercial lines insurance agency located in Livingston, NJ has an exciting opportunity for the right assistant to join our growing agency. Candidate will provide clerical administration and underwriting assistance to Account Managers and Producers.


Communicate with producers to confirm or obtain data needed for quoting and servicing
Request loss runs and experience modification worksheets
Handle correspondence and the clerical processing of accounts
Maintain suspense or follow-up system for correspondence/requests
Generate and process finance agreements
Maintain cancellation/reinstatement system
Order MVR's, prepare and process binders of insurance, policies, endorsements, id cards, certificates of insurance, audits and cancellations
Opening, sorting, scanning, indexing and distributing incoming mail both paper and electronic and maintain electronic files, ensuring all data entered is complete and accurate


New Jersey Property and Casualty Insurance license
Minimum 3+ years Property and Casualty related work experience
Minimum 2+ years in the Commercial Market Place
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and AMS 360.
Strong administrative, follow-up and organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Firm understanding of commercial lines coverage(s), policy forms and documentation
Ability to utilize computer programs and understand their functionality
Communicates with clients in a pleasant, courteous and professional manner
