I am interested in a part time office/clerical position. I am currently the owner and supervisor of contracting business; however, I have extensive Customer Service Representative and clerical/office experience. As a business owner I am well versed in the principles of management, logistics, advertising, payroll, inventory control, equipment maintenance, tax laws, etc. I have an Associates Degree in Business Administration and have been certified in Computer Information Systems. My years in the military have taught me to be responsible, disciplined, dedicated and hard working; additionally, I can easily adapt my communication, organizational, and time management skills to fit any business environment.
In addition to skills learned as a business owner I have been the night manager of a convenience store and the administrative assistant/driver for several high ranking officers in the military and once held the Battalion Mail Clerk position, which required a mid-level security clearance. I am highly proficient in many computer software programs including those for database management, spreadsheets, presentations, and inventory control. I am also experienced in audio visual services and I feel that my broad background and extensive experience makes me an excellent candidate for a part time position.
