Full Time Apartment Community Manager

We are a growing real estate development, investment and management company based in Seattle. This position is intended to fulfill the resident relations, site management, and general needs for several of our property's in Seattle.

Ideal candidates will be quick learners, hands on, entrepreneurial, able to work independently and in a team environment, with great critical thinking and problem solving skills.

We are looking for experienced professionals or someone who may not have property management experience but is looking to start a career in this field who is excited about the opportunity for growth, and added responsibility.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

BUILDING WALKS, CLEANING: Walk buildings and grounds twice weekly, pick up cigarette butts & miscellaneous garbage, tidy up entry & common areas, change light bulbs, etc.
RESIDENT RELATIONS: Respond to resident calls & emails.
BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Monthly review of property performance vs. budget.
RENT COLLECTION: Pick up rent checks, mail with deposit slip to bank, and follow up with delinquent residents.
VENDOR COORDINATION & MAINTENANCE: Act as the first point of contact for repair and maintenance issues, complete minor repairs, create work orders, and coordinate work with selected vendors for larger jobs.
TURNOVER COORDINATION: Perform move-out inspections, create required work orders, and coordinate work with selected vendors.
WEEKLY MEETINGS & ESCALATIONS: Attend weekly meetings with the Property Manager to discuss escalation issues, and provide property updates.

The time commitment for this role will be full time. Applicants must have ability to answer and return emails and calls daily, and have personal transportation.

Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
High school or equivalent education (college preferred)
Friendly, personable & professional demeanor.
Excellent one-on-one & small group communication skills.
Personal Transportation.
Strong computer skills, applicants must have a Laptop, and Smartphone.
Good listening & note-taking skills.
Reasonable understanding of building maintenance, construction, or real estate preferred.

$15-$17/hr DOE, Salary and Benefits eligible after trail period.
