One of the nation's largest Industrial Fastener Distributors is searching for a Branch Manager that is not afraid of the word "No" and is comfortable building long lasting business relationships.
As the Branch Manager you will be held responsible for the sales and gross profits of the branch and accountable for the Company image. You will be responsible for proper representation to assigned accounts or all potential accounts in an assigned territory.
In order to be successful in this position, you must be able to:
-Identify and document all customers and potential customers in assigned geographical territory
-Determine their product requirements, as well as potential dollar volume.
-Become acquainted with the proper personnel in each customer organization
-Develop relationships that will enable us to secure and maintain customer's business.
-Develop information on each account pertaining to their needs, sources of supply, pricing, and payment practices.
-Develop a sales plan tailored to the individual account paying particular attention to problem solving.
-Communicate to the customer and to the appropriate Company personnel all relevant data that will insure the creation of a customer-vendor umbilical connection.
-Persuade the customer to buy.
-Expect the organization to provide all necessary backup service support. - Find a way to express appreciation for this support.
-Study, learn, and retain product and service information in preparation to becoming a complete member of the team.
-Clearly understand that the only justification for employment is the production of sales from which all other activities result.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FASTENER INDUSTRY OR RELATED FIELD TO BE CONSIDERED
