Firmani + Associates (F+A), a Seattle-based PR and marketing agency, presents an opportunity to gain valuable marketing, PR and promotional experience as the Events Field Coordinator for a community outreach program, implemented by our agency on behalf of PEMCO Insurance.

The program demonstrates PEMCO's local Northwest roots through a year-round series of marketing activities and event sponsorships across Washington and Oregon. The Field Coordinator is primarily responsible for acting as a liaison between the program's managers and a staff of brand ambassadors who represent PEMCO in the field at events. The Field Coordinator is a leading example to fellow brand ambassadors in interacting with event attendees; displaying enthusiasm, flexibility and problem solving at events, and understanding genuine representations of PEMCO's brand.

The Field Coordinator splits his/her time between important administrative work in-office, and in-the-field management of the brand ambassador team at Northwest venues.

Primary responsibilities include:
1. Event planning: Works with the program managers to evaluate and execute sponsorship agreements with event organizers.
2. Staff coordination: Works as liaison between program managers and brand ambassadors to coordinate schedules and ensure balanced coverage at events. Participates in recruiting and hiring as needed.
3. In-the-field leadership: Attends and staffs events in an oversight role to ensure best practices are followed and a high level of engagement is achieved at events.
4. Client-facing administration: Joins program managers in daily interaction and weekly meetings with client to report progress and roadblocks.

Requirements include:
A four-year degree in a business or communications-related field;
A perfect driving record (You will be representing an insurance company, after all!);
Proficient in social media applications for businesses;
A natural ability to interact and engage with the general public, and boundless enthusiasm;
Ability to lead and flourish in highly collaborative team environment where group success trumps all;
A desire to learn, engage and go the extra mile;
Enthusiasm for public relations and marketing, and a strong desire to increase one's skill set; and
Being able to lift at least 40 pounds.

In addition to the requirements listed above, the Field Coordinator must have excellent written and verbal skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy the flexibility of a non-traditional work schedule.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Field Coordinator is a full-time commitment with hours split between office time and in the field at events, earning $17/hr. The Field Coordinator is also eligible for F+A's generous 401k benefits, health insurance, paid time off and performance bonuses.
