Maintain vehicles, equipment, facility, and inventory stock for use by field technicians and sales in multi-trade service company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
*Keep cellular phone/radio on and in your possession at all times during assigned work hours.
*Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, repair and cleaning on assigned equipment including fleet vehicles, gas-, air-, and electric- powered tools such as plumbing drain cleaning equipment, saws, drills, diagnostic and testing devices, as well as facility structures.
*Assist Warehouse Manager with Scheduling and completion of the vehicle fleet "Preventative Maintenance Program".
*Transport of fleet vehicles, tools, and equipment to designated repair facilities as required.
*Assist in design, implementation, and maintenance of inventory storage layout for facility warehouses and fleet vehicles.
*Perform vehicle setup including cleaning, repair, and stocking of field service vehicles.
*Assist in the performance of all phases of multi-warehouse inventory control system with large number of SKU items being used in field service and retails sales operations including procurement, receiving, stocking, disbursement, returns, and cycle counting while meeting designated accepted standards for shrinkage and loss.
*Support technicians, sales personnel, and other staff members as required with increasing inventory expertise specific to trades supported. At times may be required to assist technicians in the field on service calls.
*Complies with established safety rules, regulations, and company policies
*Performs other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the Warehouse Manager

Employee must be a self-starter, with the capacity to identify problems, devise solutions, and carry out plans to conclusion. Employee will sometimes be working alone, but often working with coworkers, suppliers, and at times, customers. Employee must be able to talk and/or listen both on the phone or wireless devices, and/or face-to-face and thus possess good communication skills. This position requires strong mechanical skills and attention to detail. A general understanding and increasing knowledge of how trade-specific tools operate is critical. Employee must maintain neat appearance (company uniforms) and good hygiene. Employee must be able to multi-task, work in team environment, and adapt to changing needs, priorities, and projects. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Employee must have at least high school degree or G.E.D. certificate. Minimum 2-year experience repairing/maintaining equipment. Experience in a Plumbing, HVAC, and/or Appliance sales and repair environment is preferred however an employee's attitude will be a higher priority than their current aptitude.
Employee must speak English well enough to take instructions from Supervisor and to effectively communicate with coworkers, suppliers, and customers. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Employee must be able to read service manuals, equipment documentation and specifications, supplier invoices, technician service order information, and other written instructions. Employee must be able to take and understand instructions both verbally and/or in writing.
Employee must be able to successfully complete mathematical aptitude evaluation.
Employee must be capable of applying sound business judgment to all decisions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Employee must have a current valid operator's license with good driving record.

Employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds on occasion.

This position will require working indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions ranging from very cold with rain to very hot and humid. The employee may be called upon to be in customer or service production sites on an as needed basis. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The work is primarily performed at company premises, which are to be considered to be non-smoking areas along with customer job sites and company vehicles. There may be possible exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, moderate to high noise levels and/or moving mechanical parts.
Typical workweek is eight (8) hour workdays five (5) days per week with weekend shifts on a rotational scheduled basis. When scheduled for a weekend shift the individual is off one day during the regular workweek. Overtime is limited but required occasionally and employee is expected to be available. Work hours are established by the Warehouse Manager.
