Responsible for selling Windstar cruises on inbound and outbound telephone calls. Answer calls in a prompt, courteous and professional manner and provide detailed information on products and services. Manage booking progression from confirmation to sailing or cancellation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the sale of cruises, transfers, hotels, insurance and shore excursions to direct passengers and Travel Agents via telephone and e-mail correspondence.
Process reservations, revisions and cancellations using reservation system.
Demonstrate a strong functional knowledge of the Windstar product.
Support online reservations management product, My Windstar.
Adhere to company policy and procedure.
Advise supervisor of all problems in a timely manner.
Complete booking-related tasks for accounting, sales, marketing or other departments.
Organize responsibilities to ensure completion and compliance with standards.
A minimum of two (2) years customer service experience
Cruise, travel or hotel related field experience preferred
Must demonstrate an enthusiastic and professional approach to all responsibilities
Must be punctual and flexible. Calls start when shifts begin. Scheduled shifts may start as early as 6:00am and end as late as 6:00pm (subject to change,) including Saturdays. Sundays closed.
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Willing to accept responsibility for compliance with policy and procedure
Must be able to communicate in writing and verbally with professionalism, credibility and confidence.
