Hilliard's Beer is looking for an experienced, full-time brewery sales representative for the Seattle metropolitan area. Hilliard's is Ballard brewery looking to expand our on-premise presence in order to drive rapid growth. The ideal candidate will be experienced, driven, flexible and friendly -- able to communicate our mission, to create beer for both the informed and informal beer drinker, and build a portfolio of loyal accounts.
Participate in overall sales strategy and goal planning for sale of Hilliard's Beer
Maintain existing on-premise accounts and increase order frequency
Establish new on-premise accounts and increase sales throughout the Seattle area
Work with distributor representatives to ensure smooth working relationship
Set up and participate in account promotions, beer dinners and special events
Represent Hilliard's Beer at craft beer events and other venues as needed
Create positive and long-standing relationships with restaurants, bars and other on-premise accounts
Conduct samplings of new products to current and potential accounts
Assist with product deliveries as needed
Attend company meetings as required
Submit weekly summaries of sales activities
2+ years experience in craft beer sales -- preferably in Seattle area
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with management and sales reps
Positive, energetic, and highly motivated
Love of craft beer and craft culture
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Excellent presentation & communication Skills.
Must be able to build and maintain customer relationships.
Valid and clean drivers license with reliable transportation
Strong work ethic
Flexible schedule (able to work nights/weekends as needed)
At least 21 years old
Compensation: DOE + Commission
