Position Summary
This entry-level position is primarily responsible for moving merchandise safely around the factory or warehouse. Employees are expected to be drug-free, and are subject to drug testing. This is a 4 day / 10 hour shift, Monday through Thursday, from 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Benefits -- Eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance on the first day of the month following 30 days of hire. Eligible for holidays (10) immediately. Annual vacation accrual starts immediately and equals 10 days per full calendar year. Essential Job Functions
Inspect the forklift before each use.
Load and unload merchandise.
Ensure the load is properly palletized and secure before moving.
Ensure the goods are stacked properly.
Count finished products to determine if work orders are complete.
Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Follow all company rules and policies.
Follow all safety rules.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Minimum Requirements
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
Ability to follow precise instructions.
Ability to evaluate distance.
Good eye-hand-foot coordination.
Ability to concentrate and make decisions under pressure.
Certified to operate the plant's forklifts.
Ability to lift and move light and heavy merchandise by hand using PPE.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work and maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Ability to perform hands-on work in a factory environment with hot temperatures in summer and cool temperatures in winter
Must present a positive attitude and determination to perform work safely, wearing required personal protective equipment.
Ability to work with a diverse group of co-workers.
Must be able to work a standard 4-day, 10 hours per day shift, with occasional to frequent overtime.

Preferred Skills
High school diploma or greater
Bilingual English / Spanish or English / Vietnamese
