Mail order company looking for a part-time office assistant with strong computer skills.
Must also have a clear speaking voice to take orders and answer customer questions over the phone, have the ability to multi-task, work well with others, take initiative and be punctual.
Should be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, email as well as strong attention to detail and good work ethic.
Needs good spelling and grammar for emailing with suppliers and customers and neat handwriting and organization skills for filing and making notes on paperwork.
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to)
Maintain website- update prices, post pictures of products etc.
Process orders, type invoices, track inventory
Take phone messages and orders.
Update customer lists and addresses
Some completed college coursework is preferred. Can be a recent college graduate or stay at home parent that needs to leave work by 2pm to pick up children from school.
M, W, Th, F 9am-2pm (20 hours per week)
MUST LIVE LOCAL- College Point, Whitestone, Bayside, Ridgewood etc.
