The Syracuse Area Salvation Army Office has an exciting career opportunity in our Child Welfare Department working with families with children in Foster Care.
The Supervised-Visitation Monitor is responsible for the provision of court-ordered supervised visitation services to families having children currently in foster care, providing comprehensive intake and evaluation of prospective clients. Visitation Monitor will participate in assessment process at visitation site and achieve permanency and program outcomes with designated clients. This is a full time Monday - Friday daytime position. Some travel to participant's homes may be required.
Successful applicant will be:
- energetic and highly organized with strong organizational and computer skills
- a team player with the ability to work with a variety of people.
Bachelors Degree with child welfare and/or child development experience required. BSW/MSW preferred. Must have a valid NYS driver's license and your own vehicle.
