The Housekeeping Attendant assures highest possible level of guest satisfaction by maintaining the attractiveness and cleanliness of guest units as well as common areas as assigned. 25 hrs/wk, weekend availability required.
Demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees.
Cleans assigned guest units in accordance with Company standards.
Performs laundry duties. Sorts dirty linens from guest rooms. Washes, dries, irons and folds laundry.
Stocks and maintain housekeeping carts and storage rooms.
Reports maintenance issues to Lodges Manager immediately.
Properly tags lost and found items and turns them in to management.
Cleans break room, guest laundry, vending and other areas as assigned.
Offers guest assistance when needed whenever possible.
Complies with all safety and security policies in accordance with Company standards.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of related customer service experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to stand for 8 hours or more a day and move swiftly around guest rooms and the entire hotel. Candidates must be able to push a cart, vacuum large spaces, bend and kneel to clean floors, reach above shoulders, make beds, and fold laundry. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
