Hello, I bought a wedding dress back at the beginning of the year that's absolutely gorgeous. However, I didn't take into account that my wedding ceremony and reception is outside on the grass. [I ended up purchasing another gown that's a lot easier to maneuver.] I bought this gown at a boutique in North Carolina and I won't be back down there anytime soon to return it.
The beading and detailing on this dress is sensational. I still love it. It's a strapless, A-line gown, fitted at the bodice and has a flare starting at the hips. This type of silhouette is flattering on almost any body type. I really like that the bodice is straight across - you won't be showing too much!
The color is ivory with silver detailing. The photos really don't do it justice. There are a few pieces where it looks like the beading has detached from the skirt. It was like that when I bought it and the sales lady told me that was the design. I didn't really like that look so I asked the seamstress and she said that it is an easy adjustment.
The fabric is satin. It feels like butter on your skin but a little more weight to it. This is perfect for a fall/winter wedding, in my opinion, because it's a little thicker and will keep you warm. It's classic and zippers up the back.
*Please note: This dress does not have a bustle or any alterations done. It is an "off the rack" size 12.
BONUS: This dress has a pocket. No need to carry around a purse all night.
I spent $900 on this dress and I am asking for $800 or best offer.
