Attorney Or JD/Graduating Law Student To Assist Pro Se Plaintiff in Sac Superior Court:

I (with wife) have been in pro per for 1.5 years in Sacramento Superior Court (Case # 34-2014-00157218). We have pretty much lost at every round of our battle with Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America and First American Title I believe because of lack of resources and legal expertise. There were times that I could not even get transportation to file or answer filings. . . The case is about foreclosure (securitization, etc.), unfair business practices vs. occupants/title-holders who happened to be real estate licensees who attempted a good-faith short sale, eventual eviction with numerous anomalies, abuses, etc.

I have finally found a full-time job this August 2015 that will allow me to pay for legal assistance. I will devote half of my salary and other earnings to pay for legal help and guidance in the next few months. Whether by appeal or other filings or a new lawsuit (without my wife who does not want to participate because of stress and emotional/time factors) by me as an aggrieved real estate broker and evicted co-occupant of the foreclosed property.

Even with some funds to pay for partial or limited legal representation, I know it is difficult to find any attorney much less a good one who is willing or able to fight against WFB, BofA or FATC for possible conflict of interest or fear(?) of reprisal(?). I hope to find a courageous or similarly aggrieved individual who is an attorney or J.D. who can help, even with just filing, general advice or research into causes of action, other cases, etc. I am open to work with a J.D. graduate or graduating law student, retired attorney or even expert paralegal with experience, wisdom and passion for justice.

I am willing to pay a reasonable hourly rate or agreed-upon flat fee (within the constrictions of my own income from my aforementioned employment) that would also include a contingent percentage of any settlement that I am demanding. I can meet and discuss my situation in downtown Sacramento: I am in the Sacramento County Public Law Library (609 9th Street in Sacramento, CA 95814) twice a week to work on my case. I am available this end of the week Thurs/Friday/Sat August 20-22, 2015 at a mutually convenient time. I am typically in the library 2 mid afternoons per week or early evenings on days that the library is open in the evening. You can reach me at 916-208-2704.

Sincerely,
Nelson Abaya
