We are a growing tax and accounting firm in the Wallingford/Fremont-Seattle area looking for an experienced part-time bookkeeper. Compensation depends on experience and qualifications.
Benefits include: Flexible work schedule and paid vacation time.
Job responsibilities include:
-General Ledger maintenance for client accounts
-Bank and credit card reconciliations
-Payroll processing and related taxes
-Adjusting journal entries and other business transaction entries
-Annual W-2 and 1099 form preparation
-Other business and payroll filings such as B&O and payroll filings.
-Communication with client, both written and verbal
Ideal candidate has:
-Accounting degree and/or bookkeeping certificate or 2 years bookkeeping or equivalent experience.
-QuickBooks Software- Proficient, Expert or Pro advisor preferred
-Familiarity with other accounting software such as Xero, Waveapps, and QuickBooks Online
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
-Positive attitude and desire to learn
-Proficiency in excel and outlook
