In my first year I saved over $200,000 for the state by implanting an in-house repair procedure for chronically failing circuit boards, capacitors, and powered transistor blocks. I have designed and built multiple test fixtures for the Vehicle Inspection Program, including an automated gas divider, "floating" analyzer system, and an adjustable sound meter stand. I am currently responsible for inventory control of approximately $2M in spare parts. I currently manage all aspects of the MDLaser Tech Roadside testing program. My daily tasks involve being part of a team that maintains 34 vehicle emission analyzers with a greater than 98% up-time, and the buildings and grounds of six vehicle inspection stations spread out within the Portland metro area.

Final Test Technician
Developed and refined quality control specifications for the launch of the Vector 300mm PECVD system. I worked in a clean room environment testing every system and component of the Vector, including gas distribution, electrical controls, interlocks, and mechanical functionality. Before shipment of the unit my duties included a tool burn-in: measuring and tracking the thickness of the deposition, as well as tracking the performance of other sub-systems such as wafer handling, pneumatic valve reliability, and vacuum integrity of dynamic seals.

I was part of a team that was responsible for all of the preventative maintenance and repair of 30+ tools in the Thin Films area of a wafer fab. I performed up to the annual PM on tools such as Endura PVD equipment, Novellus CVD equipment, and Leica and other measuring equipment. I utilized SPC throughout my entire time at IDT. I was an active participant of the ERT team the entire time and also lead the team for my last year there. I participated in TIP (Tool Improvement Plan) team for the Novellus in which we implemented ideas in order to increase tool efficiency and productivity.

Volunteer Fire Fighter
I volunteered my time in high school as a volunteer fire fighter. I was part of a program in which after school we would stay over night and were heavily relied on to perform all of the duties as a paid employee. I responded with my fellow fire fighters to all the calls in out district, this included motor vehicle accidents, structure fires, wild land fires, and an assortment of medical calls. I was trained up to the EMT 1 level as well as all of the other training required by fire fighters.
