Equilar is looking for a client services associate to help grow our business through strategic partnerships with key clients. This is an entry-level position for someone who loves client service, building relationships, strategy, and business development.


Client service. Call, email, train, and respond to client inquiries; track activity and usage; problem solve and resolve issues; and provide premium service to Equilar's partners and clients.
Industry knowledge. Learn about executive compensation and the corporate governance landscape.
Product and industry training. Participate in trainings across Equilar's full product suite, including on our Research team.
Business development. Work hand-in-hand with marketing and sales to assist in partner-focused initiatives.
Cultivate relationships. Engage with clients and become familiar with their needs and goals. Learn to apply these insights to further strengthen relationships and enhance mutual success.


Our ideal candidate is a natural, intelligent communicator. They should be able to thrive in a client facing environment, learn quickly, adapt easily, and want to grow into a role as a key driver of business growth.

In addition, we'll be looking for:

Excellent phone skills and phone etiquette
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adjust communication style based on your audience -- from analysts to senior partners
Desire to expand into strategic partnerships and business development


0-2 years of applicable experience
Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply!
Bachelor's degree
Experience working with consultants or law firms is a plus
Experience with Salesforce is a plus
Experience with Business-to-Business (B2B) and SaaS is a plus
