PackShip USA is searching for a Branch Manager for our Goshen, IN location. Individual would be responsible for oversight of office and warehouse/delivery operations. Offering full-time, full benefits, 401k, paid vacation.
Job Title:Branch Manager
Summary Statement: Manage the overall functions and processes of the branch; pack, ship, drive, load/unload truck as needed; provide customer service to customers at a retail counter.
-Utilize methods and procedures that facilitate achievement of branch financial goals
-Ensure orders are organized and ready for packing/shipping
-Prepare bills of lading and other related paperwork in preparation for shipment
-Manage packing materials inventory and re-order when needed
-Perform retail counter functions, including but not limited to, determining customers' packing and shipping charges, collecting money for each purchase, and returning proper amount of change back to customer.
-Open and close cash register, ensuring that the cash drawer is balanced.
-Develop and implement creative initiatives that produce an appealing retail atmosphere, increasing the overall retail sales.
-Ensure that all retail merchandise is properly price marked on the retail floor; ensure that all retail items are registered in the P-O-S system with the correct retail prices.
-Clean, dust and sweep retail area at least once per day.
-Perform tracking and tracing functions on shipments; contact customer (when appropriate) to instruct customer on delivery procedures.
-Enter accounts receivable charges into P-O-S system.
-Package orders as needed
-Load/unload truck utilizing forklift as needed
-Drive box truck for pickups/deliveries as needed
-Recommend changes in operational methods and procedures for improvement
-Provide standard and comprehensive reports to supervisor
-Maintain and update computer database
-Resolve customer complaints.
-Other related duties as assigned by management
