Our client, a prominent Private Equity Firm located in New York City is seeking an experienced Administrative/Operations Manager to oversee the facilities and operations in its growing office. We are seeking a leader with an approachable, mature personality who demonstrates excellent judgment and discretion. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to working in a bustling environment that is experiencing tremendous growth.

The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office by overseeing the management of the administrative staff, managing all things facilities-related, including coordinating logistics for build outs, approving internal moves, and acting as the main point of contact to building management and maintenance workers, and monitoring the budget and facilities expenses. In addition, you will be the point person for all emergency preparedness education, literature, and plans for employees and new hires and handle administrative tasks as well.

Train, build and oversee a strong administrative team
Assist with accounting responsibilities such as invoices, reports, tax payments and audits
Facilitate human resource processes such as recruitment, onboarding and benefits administration
Assist with compliance and program administration
Collaborate with vendors creating and maintaining profitable relationships
Manage facilities and communal spaces
Oversee relocation efforts, ensuring all logistical issues are resolved
Liaise with multiple levels of management and staff to address maintenance issues and streamline daily operations

Bachelor's degree required
At least 8 years of experience as an office manager
Strong leader with the ability to grow and train a successful team
Positive, personable and quick-on-your-feet
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and project management skills
Team player who thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced work environment
Multi-tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and databases
