Our client, a leading investment banking firm, is looking for a floating Administrative Assistant to join their Securities division in New York, NY. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities of Administrative Assistant:
Provide administrative support in a team environment
Coordinate complex senior-level internal & external meetings/conference calls
Handle a large volume of phone calls
Interact with high-level business leaders professionally and effectively
Maintain complex calendars and prioritize meeting requests and related logistics
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
Process expense reports
Prepare and distribute divisional correspondence, memos, letters, reports and other documents, as necessary
Understand firm policies and handle certain issues independently
Participate in general administrative duties, ad hoc projects, committees and group events

Qualifications of Administrative Assistant:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
Highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion required
Dependable and positive team player with excellent anticipation skills
Quick and efficient problem solver, able to succeed in a deadline-drive environment
Able to consistently communicate at a professional level, including people at all organizational levels
Able to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events and prioritize/multi-task at a high standard despite pressing deadlines
Highly attentive to detail, organized, independent and resourceful
Possesses a strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Possesses a strong knowledge of general business, corporate and government cultures
3+ years of experience is preferred
