Graphics Designer

To produce and maintain the graphic look and feel of E-Commerce websites, logos, templates and flash animations. He/she will understand graphic requirements and interpret/translate creative needs into visually attractive functional electronic designs that will help increase overall E-Commerce Sales and company profitability.

Responsible to ensure the confidentiality and full complete safeguarding the company's trade secrets and any of our business client's customer lists and related records. (Accountable to: Corporate Leadership Team and Clients)
Help define the overall online visual identity for our brands across all company channels to build synergy.
Design web page layout and online content components for E-Commerce Websites.
Design and develop all online communications such as banner advertising, affiliate marketing, mini and micro sites along with e-mail campaigns. (Accountable to: E-Comm. Dept.)
Perform maintenance of graphics and content for all websites. (Accountable to: E-Comm Dept.)
Ability to translate business requirements and technical considerations into design recommendations to maximize performance. (Accountable to: E-Comm. Dept., AMS Customers.)
In Depth knowledge and application of online best practices in design work: Usability, Search Engine Optimization, Site Performance, Browser Compatibility, etc. (Accountable to: E-Comm. Dept.)
Handling projects from original inception through production as assigned. (Accountable to: E-Comm. Dept.)
Establish and maintain high creative standards and take direction from creative leadership team. (Accountable to: E-Comm. Dept.)

Bachelor's degree in Design, Art School or Advertising School graduate (e.g. BFA in Design) preferred
3+ years' experience working in an online retail design positionConsumer, Client facing experience vital
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related equivalent experience.
Strong conceptual abilities and attention to detail
Self-directed, responsible, and able to meet deadline and budget requirements
Strong typography and foundational design skills, composition, color
Ability to work within or establish brand look/feel
Fluent in design software (Photoshop, Flash w/Action Script. CSS, DHTML and XHTML).
Ability to follow direction (written and verbal)
Ability to change gears and shift focus
Excellent graphic production and layout skills
Knowledge of production and layout
