Gulf Coast Village, Cape Coral's premier continuing care retirement community, is seeking a full-time HR Coordinator (Monday through Friday).
JOB TITLE: Human Resources Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY: Processes and produces the work necessary for efficient HR office operations and functions effectively while interacting with community staff, residents and the visiting public in a professional and courteous manner
Coordinate employee BENEFITS:
Primary point of contact for both employees and vendors as related to benefits/insurance programs: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, Critical Illness, Accident, EAP, and 401k. Complete and accurate benefits administration to include benefits reminders, enrollments, and terminations. Coordinate annual Open Enrollment meetings.
WORKER'S COMPENSATION INSURANCE:
Report Worker's Compensation claims to carrier in timely fashion and track return to work status or light duty assignments
Maintain accurate and organized personnel files
Enter accurate and timely data into Paylocity payroll system
Ensure accurate tracking of FLMA and other leaves of absence
Respond to employment verification requests
Prepare department invoices for approval and payment by the business office
Track and ensure receipt of required annual compliance items from employees: background checks, PPD, driver's insurance, certifications, performance evaluations
Assist with planning and implementation of employee events
Run standard reports out of payroll system
Assist with Employee Orientation facilitation and preparation of materials
Minimum of 3 years experience demonstrating successful HR administrative support with a focus on: Benefits Administration; Employee service and support in a high volume, fast paced work environment; Personnel File Maintenance for an organization of at least 400 employees; Familiarity with ACA, FMLA and Worker's Compensation administration; Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated advanced skills in using Powerpoint, Word, Outlook and in navigating payroll and benefits web portals. Experience with Paylocity a plus.
Requires a mature individual who is results and solution oriented and who exhibits an unwavering commitment to professionalism and professional interpersonal communication, sense of urgency, and confidentiality in representing the Human Resources function for an organization; Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated effective time management skills to ensure consist ability to meet deadlines and deliverables within the assigned work week; Proven ability to combine amicable personality with professional boundaries in the workplace; Comfort level with public speaking at employee events.
