Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the General Manager, is responsible for all activity related to Medicaid clients.

High School diploma or GED and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of scheduling and/or health care preferred
100% Bilingual (English & Spanish)

Requires proficiency in word processing and computer skills (Microsoft Office and Internet)

Must possess above average human relations, customer service, and organizational skills. Must be able to work under time pressures and manage multiple demands simultaneously. Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills are necessary.

Essential Functions:
Assist in matching caregiver qualifications and availability to client's needs and scheduling shifts for Medicaid region.
Provide back-up assistance for scheduling other regions
Maintain accurate information in Company's software systems at all times.
Communicate new assignments and/or schedule changes to caregivers and clients; as well as follow-up on service delivery and determine satisfaction of services.
Responsible for the hiring and processing of new caregivers
Provide back-up assistance for hiring and processing new caregivers for other regions.
Establish initial client records, in compliance with State regulations, to include filing of documents. Keep all client records up to date and perform audits as needed.
Perform supervisory visits as assigned by General Manager.
Oversees caregivers under Medicaid region and complete performance appraisals, track training and perform counseling reports.
Verify Medicaid caregivers' shifts & data necessary to initiate accurate payroll and billing processes.
Responsible for reading, notating and following up on documentation submitted by caregivers.
Deliver and explain procedure of devices required by State
Participation in on-call rotation as assigned.
Participates in client case conferences as requested by immediate supervisor.
Works with General Manager to assist in resolution of caregiver issues
May interface with other community resources to assure that client needs are adequately addressed.
Perform any and all tasks assigned by the General Manager and/or President.

Working Environment: Office environment. Work schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (30 min lunch break)

Position Physical Demands:
Walking, sitting, and standing. Ability to install Emergency Response units, requiring bending, kneeling and lifting. Items typically not expected to exceed 25 pounds in weight. Extended time at a computer work screen and on the telephone.
