The Certified Nurses Aide assists the Director of Nursing with the nursing care of the members. The Certified Nurses Aide ensures that all work complies with company policies and procedures, safety and regulatory laws and standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Assists members in the performance of daily activities. Ensures that all members nursing needs are addressed.

2.Assists in the setting up, serving and cleaning up of meals. Ensures that members' personal care is maintained after meals and activities.

3.Documents members' daily goals, incorporating achievement of the medical plan of care goals, objectives and interventions. Assists interdisciplinary team members in reviewing members' behaviors and medical needs as they relate to daily goals.

4.Assists members as needed with daily functional and off-site activities (i.e.: hygiene, ambulation, toileting, arrivals and departures, and social activities).

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Program Assistant assists the Activities Director with the development, preparation, implementation and cleanup of the daily member activities. The Program Assistant ensures that all work complies with company policies and procedures, safety and regulatory laws and standards.

1.Assists in preparation and implementation of scheduled activities (i.e.: obtaining and setting up craft supplies, games, seating). May purchase and store supplies as instructed by Director of Activities.

2.Assists members in the performance of daily activities. Ensures that all members are participating in appropriate activities.

3.Assists in the setting up, serving and cleaning up of meals. Ensures that members' personal care is maintained after meals.

4.Documents members' daily goals, incorporating achievement of the medical plan of care goals, objectives and interventions. Assists interdisciplinary team members in reviewing members' behaviors and medical needs as they relate to daily goals.

5.Assists members as needed with daily functional and off-site activities (i.e.: hygiene, ambulation, arrivals and departures, and social activities).
