Metabolism -- friend or foe?

?Is your metabolism your friend or foe?

Is your metabolism sluggish...even though you have a similar activity level and/or diet as your more slender and/or fit friends?

That is frustrating, right?

Aside from maybe not being as trim as you would ideally like to be, is your energy level also so low that your everyday survival depends on drinking coffee and energy drinks?

Next to a sluggish metabolism and low energy, are mental cobb webs, stiff joints, and out of whack blood sugar levels a problem? That description probably represents the majority of Americans to some degree or another.

Is there a magic bullet to make everything all better?

Probably not. At least not on a long-term basis.

The experts say, just eat organic foods and all will be well. Of course, there is probably truth to that, but the majority of people are not always disciplined enough to adhere to a raw, organic diet.

Then what is the alternative?

Popping pills, protein shakes, wheat grass?

Well, yes, partly!

If you cannot commit to a raw, organic diet, or otherwise eat enough nutritious foods, then you need to get the nutrients into your body somehow. What you should take becomes the million dollar question!
