We are seeking a professional individual with a strong work ethic to provide support for the workings of a high-volume community clinic. This person must have strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, computer skills and be a self-starter.

Time Commitment: Agreed upon weekly shifts (30-35 hrs/week) Including at least one weekend day. (Plus 2-4 hours flex time answering phone messages and making phone calls.

Qualifications:
Belief in the mission and values of community patient care
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; Google mail and calendars.
Kindness to patients (people in pain).
Good phone manner
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to solve problems within the scope of responsibilities
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with clinic staff and volunteers
Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time
Ability to work in a busy environment.


Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors and orient them to our services.
Answer phones and emails; schedule appointments, give directions
Pull walk-in charts
Keep clinic clean and tidy, vacuum, trash, take care of plants.
File and pull files
Thank you notes/emails to patients
Follow up notes or emails
Maintain contacts databases
Flyers around town and other marketing
Refill paperwork supplies
Order and buy supplies

Working with the public, and other staff members in a clear, consistent, and respectful manner.
To be welcoming and respectful to all kinds of people
Maintain a high level of confidentiality of all clinic matters
Other duties and special projects as mutually agreed upon.
