I have up for sale a Gibson Thor Bass/Guitar Amplifier..
This Amplifier was originally designed for Bass guitar, but will work well with guitar also... (similar to how guitar players embraced the Fender Bassman amp)

Was stored in a climate controlled storage room at a local church.
Meticulously taken care of for its age. Only a few very minor scuffs on the tolex.
Speakers are still in good condition, considering they are almost 45 years old.

I was told it was purchased new in Elkhart, Indiana sometime during 1971/1972.

This Amplifier was manufactured by Chicago Musical Instruments for the Gibson Guitar Corporation.
CMI was a manufacturer for Gibson until 1974.

Gibson Badge is no longer on the top left corner of the grill cloth.
You can see where it was attached, but it is no longer there.

Here are some specs I found online about this classic amp:

GIBSON THOR (CMI era)
- 50W, 2-10 in. speakers in a vertical cabinet, bass amp combo, solid-state chassis, single channel, front black control panel, two inputs, three knobs (v, t, b), black vinyl covering, black grille, 18.75 in. wide, 31.25 n. tall, 11.25 in. deep, 51 lbs., mfg. 1970-74.

$150
Pickup only
Located in Kingsford Heights Indiana
