ing this great James Patterson guitar. Lots of online info on the builder if unfamiliar with him.....a Santa Cruz legend. He passed away a couple years ago in his 80's after 4 decades of inlaying and building guitars, having done custom inlay work for Martin, mentoring many luthiers including a young Richard Hoover back in the day, and writing the early "Bible" on inlaying that many a luthier are familiar with. Guitar recently back from my luthier and is set up, plays and sounds fantastic.
WALNUT "000" guitar
This is a fantastic finger style guitar which is short scale, 12 fret with slotted headstock, 1 3/4" nut, wide saddle spacing and lower bout 15 1/4". It is at just under 4" deep, sounds fantastic and projects a lot of sound. It is a 1997 and he built it with some of his special stash walnut. Mu luthier set it up and took care of the top. It has a very minor 1 1/2" crack in the top, a couple inches below the neck upper bout. Jim said it was very superficial, he managed to work a little hide glue into it and it is stable and a non-issue. It is unnoticeable unless at an angle in the right lighting. A couple small scratches in the top. Otherwise it is in wonderful condition, no dents, dings, buckle rash, crazing or anything. It plays and sounds very nice, really a beautiful rich tone. Comes with an older TKL case, fits perfectly with one broken latch.
If interested we can talk via phone, be happy to do an in- hand description, answer any questions, and provide more detail. I have sold and shipped numerous guitars without incident. I also want the buyer to be happy and satisfied, will accept returns - take a 3 day approval period. Thanks for looking.
