We are wanting to add a PART-TIME employee to our staff to oversee a few janitorial accounts in the Salina area. The facilities belong to a major telecommunications company and require cleanings on a weekly and monthly basis. This is a great opportunity for a college student, retiree or someone looking to make extra money!
The ideal candidate would have prior housekeeping/janitorial experience with some knowledge of building maintenance. The key attributes we are seeking include dependability, integrity, self-motivation, trustworthiness, detail-orientation and good communication skills. The prospective employee must also meet the following requirements:
-must live in the Salina area
-must be 18 yrs. or older
-must have reliable transportation
-must have a cell phone with text/email capabilities
-must be able to lift 35+ lbs.
-must be able ascend a ladder, up to 6'
-must be able to pass a criminal background check
The position is PT and affords the prospective employee the flexibility to schedule their set hours (must be between 6:00a-7:00p). The employee is responsible for general janitorial duties, changing light bulbs and the management of janitorial supplies. Additionally, the employee works with little supervision and is required to maintain regular correspondence with the home office via text, email and/or phone. Special projects may be assigned with short-term notice, so the employee will need to be flexible and render services expediently. 28-30 HRS PER MONTH are expected, with special services being additional.
