JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform tasks involving physical labor at building construction projects site. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble and debris. May be required to assist other craft workers. Perform duties as directed by the labor foreman or R&M Manager.
Essential Abilities, Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned as required):
Run and maintain various construction equipment, including but not limited to: pumps, compressors, generators, and various other construction equipment.
Load and unload trucks. Deliver materials to the site storage area or other designated area.
General knowledge of construction means, methods, materials and equipment as necessary to assist carpenters, foreman and R&M managers.
Ability to keep building and/or assigned areas of jobsite clean and organized as necessary to maintain safe and productive work.
Ability to erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, and other temporary structures.

Education -- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)Preferred
Experience -- 2 Years as a Labor/Helper in the carpentry or construction field preferred.
Communication Skills -- Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.The ability to understand information, ideas, direction and then be able to perform the task or project discussed. Also, to be able to ask questions to insure you understand the information given.

This position is a Non-Exempt position and is subject to overtime pay.
Travel is not required in this position.
This position reports direct to the R&M Manager as assigned by the R&M Superintendent for daily task and to the Superintendent of the project.
