Action Property Management, a premier management company, is seeking a Part-time Access Control Officer to join our team at our luxury property, Meridian, located in Newport Beach.

The purpose of a site Access Control Officer is to provide a constant security presence on the interior and exterior as well as respond as necessary to needs at Meridian Newport Beach.

Access Control Officers report directly to the OIC and the General Manager and shall follow all instructions given by the OIC and General Manager. Access Control Officers are responsible for patrolling and inspecting the common areas on a routine basis to ensure that access is controlled, the HOA's rules are being followed and the property is well maintained.

Access Control Officers must at all times display a professional appearance and speak in a polite manner and clear tone, including answering telephones or addressing people who have approached the Kiosk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections of the Common Areas, including the building perimeter, (including residential hallways and stairwells) at least once per shift, preferably mid-shift and document any discrepancies. Report any concern to Management, Engineering or Janitorial as appropriate.
Represent Action Property Management by greeting residents, guests, and other visitors at the Kiosk in a welcoming and professional manner.
Be familiar with the parking structure

Answer phones and greet all residents and guests as they enter or exit the property. Follow Action's 100% ers at all times.

Maintain the appearance Kiosk area, Lobby, and main elevators by assuring it is organized and clean at all times; summon the janitorial or maintenance staff when needed; straighten the package room in a neat and orderly manner.
Note accurately any issues or information throughout the work shift in the Daily Activity Report; read the pass-on log and read any e-mails for information pertinent to Access Control Officers; communicate effectively with co-workers to assure a smooth transition of shifts.

Minimum of 1 year in a Hospitality, Residential property, or Retail role
Passion for customer service
Willingness to work extra hours/shifts if requested
