Career College of California is hiring a Financial Aid Collections Coordinator. Located in downtown Santa Ana, we are a small but thriving nationally-accredited school with outstanding student outcomes. We are looking to add to our team a highly-organized, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, team-oriented individual with communication skills able to effectively support our students in successfully making their school payments. Responsibilities Communicate with students in school and after graduation about their school loan payment requirements Diligently update school database information to reflect all communication with studentsConsistently provide students with the information they need to pay their loans while also being firm and persistent in communicationCreate, read and analyze reports that will provide you with the necessary information to reach out to students
RequirementsSome collections experience Some financial aid experience a plus Some college coursework completed Superb phone skills Strong organizational skills Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook Experience with customer relationship management software Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in person and by telephone Available to work 20 hours per weekBilingual English/Spanish preferable
